Horse Trek Guide
Due to the earth quakes we are unable to employ any staff at present.Paige has decided to take a different direction with her life we have sadly, had to say good bye. I am sure many of you and ourselves have some great memories of the excellent service and the wonderful person she was. She will be missed both by us and the horses. Good Luck!

Feel free to call us “Mum & Dad”. Stan my husband and I have been helping out Erika and Stan with walking treks and getting horses ready for many years now.
We are not horse people ourselves but certainly have a respect and affinity with them. Being a family business and with safety being the first priority, we are more than happy to help out on the big treks and enjoy the additional exercise it gives us. We also love the interaction with people from a variety of other countries and cultures. So we look forward to meeting you too!
We may be retired but we keep ourselves very fit!

Hi everyone! Between us we have over 60 years experience with horses from breeding, training, racing, showing, trekking to general health and welfare. They are undoubtedly our greatest passion and we love to see the joy they bring to so many people both young and old.

Hi, I'm Stan and I am a builder by trade (these skills have been put to use a lot around here as there was nothing on the land when we started) but I had my first pony “Flash”at 7 years old and have always “messed” around with horses since then. In the past I have trained and breed my own Thoroughbred race horses and have always taken a keen interest in both harness and galloping racing.
Apart from new building and maintenance around the farm I take an active part in the business through our pick up and return service, greeting the customers and getting the treks underway as well being responsible for the horses health and welfare.

Hi I'm Erika and I had my first horse when I was 17 and taught myself how to ride (not very pretty!). I gave up riding for 20 years and once I got back into it I never looked back. I now have a beautiful pinto called “Cadbury Marble” that I bought as a yearling who has since had one foal and is foal again - fingers crossed it will be just as great has her first foal Chip!
We have shown both in-hand and under saddle and accumulated numerous ribbons including a Champion and Reserve Champion. Unfortunately my little darling did not grow to her estimated height and remains a pony.
My role is one of managing the horses, staff and helpers as well as marketing, taking out treks and wagon rides.
Our greatest pleasure is to see the smiles on peoples' faces during and after their rides! So we look forward to seeing you soon...
